Description
After entering GPRS information the phone displays a "Couldn't Connect to FSO" error which isn't removed even after rebooting the distribution and thus one cannot connect to GPRS or change the server details once this error is displayed.
The GPRS server I used works on the Om 2009 distribution.

I'm using SHR-testing from 29 May 2010 the lite version from here on a Kingston 8 GB MicroSDHC card: http://shr.bearstech.com/shr-testing/images/om-gta02/. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any logs as the terminal stopped working while I tried to connect to GPRS today (I received segmentation fault errors and couldn't re-open it - and in fact couldn't open any other application either - after I closed it). The logs no longer appear on the MicroSDHC card when I connect it to the computer (/var/volatile/log is now empty but had files when I used the terminal on the phone). Is there any way to automatically backup the logs to another location? Anyway, this time the FSO error didn't show up, but GPRS still didn't work (it claimed it was connected but pinging Google gave a bad address reply).

I assume it's shr-testing2011.1?
For me gprs is working fine. The Error you mention means in most of the cases that FSO is still starting. A good indication if FSO is started is that the PIN dialog pops up.
If this doesn't solve your problem please add the logs from /var/log, after trying to connect to GPRS, to this ticket.
