Intone+mplayer 1 or 2:

Setup

add that to .asoundrc:

pcm.!default {
  type bluetooth
  device XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
  profile "auto"
}

Note that only intone and usual alsa program will use that path, not the telephony, ring etc...

Each Time
  • boot the phone
  • open vala-terminal
  • run:
    fdisk /dev/mmcblk0
    p #if a partition doesn't appear, run the following(recreates a big partiton, do not do that if you have multiples partitions)
    n
    p
    <enter>
    <enter>
    <enter>
    p #the partition should have appeared
    w

  • open emtooth2, wait for the bluetooth headset to appear in intone after putting the headset in discovered mode.
  • click on the device entry
  • slide the audio connect button, reslide it until it says an error that it's already connected(so you know it's connected)
  • finally open intone, select the folder to play(do not take a too-big folder else it will OOM(out of memory(RAM))
  • click on the settings button and renice mplayer
  • return to the normal menu and press play

TODO

om-gta02

  • Integrate bluetooth better
  • Fix microsd issues
  • handle the slowness of the CPU in mplayer or find a music player that works and that is capable of playing music fast enough
